Assignments not loading into a Module

I have a list of assignments being pulled in from Pearson's MyFrenchLabs.  All of the assignments from the publisher are showing correctly in the assignment index in my course.  When I go to insert some (about a dozen out of 50 assignments) of these assignments into a module, they are not listed as options to insert.  

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, guidance is greatly appreciated

I have a small bit of experience (though quite limited) with Pearson MyLabs LTI content.  My first question would be...when you look at your "Assignments" page in Canvas, what kind of icon is showing up next to those Pearson MyFrenchLabs items that you've imported into your course?  In my example below, the icons from top to bottom are graded Discussion, Quiz, and Assignment.

When you are trying to add the item to your Modules screen, are you selecting the appropriate category from the drop-down list?  Hopefully, the Pearson content would show up in one of those lists.  If you can please confirm this, that would be great...thanks!

Thanks for asking clarifying questions in an effort for group brainstorm, Chris!

In response: 

1.  The icons in the assignment list are an Assignment icon (pencil/notebook).  And they are published.

2.  The assignment index is properly set up with assignment categories, and I am looking in the appropriate category.  I've also looked in all the other categories for that matter, just to make sure I didn't accidently overlook anything--they aren't showing as an option to insert from any of the categories.

Ideas?

This is certainly strange.  I tried masquerading as one of our faculty who uses MyMath Lab to see if her course had Pearson MyLabs content added in the Modules screen.  It did...and when I clicked on the "+" sign to try and add Pearson content from the "Assignments" category, I could see all the Pearson items listed for me to select from.

I'm thinking that a call or ticket to the Instructure Help Desk staff is in order for you, Morgan.  They might be able to help diagnose this better.  You can find their contact information by clicking on the "Help" icon on the left hand side of your Canvas environment.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...kind of at a loss to determine what the issue may be.

Thank you for your efforts, Chris.  It is greatly appreciated.  Our University IT department believes it to be an issue on the Pearson side.  If it isn't, they have assured me they will contact Canvas.  Much gratitude!

I am having a similar issue. 

(1) I created a Course on Person's MyLab Math (MLM)

(2) I integrated Canvas/MLM

(3) no problem with the assignments showing in the dropdown box of assignments to link in canvas....

BUT then I made updates to the MLM course, and the new assignment on MLM shows up in MLM but does not show up in the list of assignments on Canvas.  I can not find a way to create a link to the assignmetn on canvas. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

In the case that anyone else has this problem, I finally have a resolution to this VERY frustrating problem.  This is what I received from the Pearson Tech Team, and it finally worked.  Please Note that I would have NEVER thought of this because I am not really trying to "sync grades".

Good day! I hope this email finds you well and safe. Apologies for the inconvenience that this concern has caused you. For the assignments that are not synching Professor, please try to manually synch it in Canvas, please see the steps below. 
For manual grade synchronization : 

1. Log into Canvas.
2. Click on the MyLab and Mastering link in the course navigation menu to the left.
3. You should now see the Home tab of the MyLab and Mastering tool.
4. Click on the Grade Sync tab to access the tool’s synchronization settings.
5. Choose the items that you would like to synchronize immediately by clicking on the checkboxes beside them.
6. Click the "Sync Grades Now" button to begin updating the selected assignments.
7. Once your grades have finished synchronizing, view your Assignments and Grades by clicking the respective links in
   the course navigation menu.

I found that I had an "instructor course" and a "student course." I had unknowingly created some of the assignments in the Instructor course, and some in the student course. Only the student course is linked to my Canvas Shell.  I haven't yet figured out how to migrate the assignments from the Instructor course to the student course so I can access them in Canvas....
