Assignment Won't Fully Submit

When I upload an Word Document assignment to Canvas, I get a notification stating that it was submitted but I do not receive the green checkmark noting that it was indeed submitted. The submission circle is half filled with the green line to indicate complete submission. I tried to upload a picture of this but am unable to. Please advise.

Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to determine if your assignment was submitted correctly or not because we don't have access to your school's Canvas environment or your course(s).  It would be best if you reached out to your instructor directly.  He/She can look within the Gradebook and SpeedGrader to see if your assignment was successfully submitted.  Also, you should be able to see if your assignment was submitted by following the information in this Guide:

Hi @AshleyBrown3,

Have you looked at the  How do I submit an online assignment in a course u... - Instructure Community  guide at all yet?  As far as I know, you will not get a green checkmark when the assignment is submitted, rather you'll see a circle with about 2/3 of an outline in green, as shown in the guide.  Maybe I'm mistaking your question, but it sounds to me like everything is working correctly if the screen says submitted and you get a notification.

This was very helpful! Thank you. Based on this information, I think the issue may be on the instructors end because I am taking the necessary steps to submit assignments per the link you suggested but she isn't receiving them.
