Assigning one outcome multiple times on one assessment

Hi! 

I am looking for guidance regarding outcomes/rubrics and the learning mastery grade book. When giving a math assessment, I want to have an outcome for each question. I am running into an issue where I cannot add the same outcome/criteria more than once to an assignment rubric. I am assessing the same skill on multiple questions. So as a workaround, I created the same outcome/criteria but named it differently (example: functions, functions 1). This then causes an issue in the learning mastery gradebook because now I cannot tell if a student is mastering the skill because the skill is split into multiple outcomes. Is there a better way to do this?

I am just starting to explore Outcomes, so I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination! Are you using Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes? I believe that New Quizzes allows you to assign Outcomes to individual test questions. I don't think you can do this with Classic Quizzes.

I did not even think to use Quizzes! It is for an algebra class though, and I would like them to show their work...which is why I was just printing them off from a google doc and pasting the outcomes and then grading manually.

Possibly! Thank you!! I am running into an issue with the quizzes option tho- do the outcomes I assign link to the learning mastery grade book? I have a teacher who was doing some research and found that they do not? I am stuck. Thanks everyone!
