Hi, I recently submitted a writing assignment that my professor will grade anonymously.
That said, I attached a comment with my Word Doc submission. When I look at the submission details, my name is next to my comment. I want to make sure that this doesn't defeat anonymous grading, that is, when my Professor grades these papers anonymously, she doesn't see my name next to the attached comment.
I've tried deleting it, but that doesn't seem to be an option on Canvas, and re-submitting it doesn't do anything about it.

Hello @jc999
Thanks for posting this in the Canvas Community!
I was able to test this out in my course. The good news is that If your instructor has enabled the anonymous grading settings within the assignment and you have added a comment, your comment will not show your name or any details about yourself when they go to grade it. Instead it will just show that there is an assignment comment added that they can look at.
Hopefully this helps!
