Analytics for Announcements

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to check the analytics for a course announcement (or other post)? I would like to check things like page views and engagement, but I can't figure out an easy way of doing that besides going through each student in a course and checking their activity. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello @BonnTurkington ...

Do you think any of the options within New Analytics might be of use to you?  For example, have you checked "Weekly Online Activity" or have you run the "Course Activity" report to see if any of the data presented there would be helpful to you?

• How do I view and download reports in New Analytic... - Instructure Community

As you are looking for your announcements in these areas of New Analytics, they may have the Discussions icon next to them, but they should tell you some data about the announcements themselves...like the number of students and page views.
