I have an interesting and somewhat annoying situation.
is there a workaround, or a way, to get ALL students to show in SpeedGrader, in a new section?

Hi @John_Gaspar,
If this manual section creation is officially supported by your school/institution, I'd suggest having an admin use the SIS Import process to enroll the users the next time you need to, rather than manually enrolling from the People tool. When using the SIS import, users do not need to accept invites, the enrollment just happens. It's pretty for an admin to create an enrollment CSV file to upload to the SIS Import area of Canvas. You could also look into doing enrollments via the API, but honestly that's probably way more work with no added benefit compared to using the SIS method.
Hope this helps!

Hi @John_Gaspar
Interesting problem - our institutional End to End Assessment solution also generates marker sections, but doesn't depend on students accepting any invitations. If you would like to share more details of how you are currently generating the sections and section enrolments, I'm sure someone in the community will be able to suggest a resolution.
Hi @paul_fynn. Most sections are created automatically, based on enrollment and timetable information. Those sections are created before the start of each session and student enrolments, withdrawals, and class changes are updated by our systems in real time.
The section that's causing a problem was created manually (in settings) and populated in People. That part's fine. They show in new section in gradebook but not in Speedgrader.

Thanks @chriscas .I agree that getting our IT Admin to add the students would be smoother but it would take a while to get done.
I think my problem happened because it was late in the semester, the teaching period had finished, and students weren't looking at their emails or Canvas notifications. I recommended to the academic that they organise these admin sections earlier.
