Is it possible to access the submission of a student who has dropped the course?
In a group activity, one student submitted the assignment on behalf of their group. Since the course instructor hadn’t set up groups in the LMS, marks are manually assigned to the other group members.
This student has now dropped the course, and I haven’t yet graded this particular assignment for their group. I need to access their submission to grade the remaining group members.

Hello @MalharPandya ...
If you are able to re-enroll the student in question, the submission(s) should come back for you. If you are not able to re-enroll the student on your own, please talk with your school's Canvas administrator to see if he/she would be willing to temporarily re-enroll the student for you so that you can get that assignment information.
Hopefully you'll be able to work with folks at your school to get what you need. Good luck!

Hi @MalharPandya,
If the dropped student remains in your roster (found in the "People" area) of the Canvas course shell but has an "inactive" status, you might be able to see their prior submissions/grades by following the guidance in the How do I view grades for inactive or concluded student enrollments in the Gradebook? guide.
If the dropped student has been removed, you would need do what @Chris_Hofer said.
