[New Analytics] Integrate New Analytics into Canvas

Problem statement:

We would like our Canvas users to be able to export CSV files from New Analytics in the same way as they do from Grades. Currently our users are able to easily open and view the CSV files in Excel if they adjust settings in their account settings. Namely (we are located in Sweden), we recommend to enable "Include Byte-Order Mark in compatible spreadsheet exports" and "Use semicolons to separate fields in compatible spreadsheet exports" under "Feature Options" in the settings. The Canvas users usually do not have to convert data to columns in Excel when opening the .CSV file if they have these two feature options enabled. These settings however do not seem to help when one uses New Analytics in courses to download reports in .CSV format.

Proposed solution:

A proposed solution is further integration of New Analytics into Canvas, which would allow for an easier export of CSV files from Canvas. It'd be great if the export would also include more details (such as sections, groups, roles, e-mails users have, etc.) and would appear under the "People" link in the Canvas courses. This export could possibly also include an option to export the list in a PDF format (see my other related idea suggestion here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Ideas/Export-course-People-list-with-details-like-in-New-A...).

This idea has been added to the Streamline data audits through better reporting and admin tools for further consideration.
