In the Canvas app for smartphones it shows you a To-Do List that lists items that you haven't yet completed that are due within the next week or so. This is a useful reminder.
What would also be useful, is that when you are sitting at a computer logged into Canvas on a web browser, when you are browsing through your modules in your course that it has a visual checkbox that is automatically checked (or some other visual cue) that shows you that you have completed an assignment, quiz, etc. This helps you quickly see what you are missing or haven't already done and lets you to quickly prioritize what needs to be done without having to manually go through each module to check if you have completed it or not.
Sometimes things get hectic when managing several Online/Mixed courses at the same time, these visual signifiers make things simpler and easier to remember.
