DocViewer Updates: Persistent Tools

This idea has been developed and deployed to Canvas

The new DocViewer, whilst refined has dramatically hindered my marking of students work. The following two features would help redress this. It would help if the current tool selected remained persistent (once selected remained active e.g. draw multiple regions) or shortcut keys added?

You have some great advancement ideas here for #docviewer.  Thank you for sharing them.  

As they are, lumped together in one, they are hard to track, vote, and comment on.  Would you please resubmit your ideas as 3 separate ideas?

I concur with your comments.  I know that I and other instructors use the persistent tools.

Hi, Nathan,

Annotations are now persistent as noted in Canvas Release: Canvas DocViewer.

As Renee indicated, we can better accommodate feature enhancement ideas when they are broken out specifically. For keyboard shortcuts, please submit as a new feature idea as this one is now considered to be resolved.
