[Discussions] merge groups with threads from those groups

Problem statement:

I have manually created discussion groups on my course in Canvas where the students have to discuss through posts. In two of the groups active participants became only 2 students, so I want to combine these 2 discussion groups into one group so that they become 4 students in one group instead. If I move the students to the same group, their discussions will not carry over to the new group.

Proposed solution:

Possibility to merge two groups to one group- with content from these two groups, the earlier posted threads and files .
