I have noticed that even when you lock a certain assignment, students have found a loophole. If they leave the tab with that assignment open, they can continue to work on/turn in that assignment well after the lock/due date. There needs to be a way to stop that. It does tell us 'how long' they've been working on the assignment, but it's annoying to try and police that and not fair to the other students who are working within the due date parameters.
The system just needs ot be better at recognizing that this assignment was locked days/weeks ago and not allow the turn in. Or if there was a way to close the tab after that lock date passes.
