[Announcements] Ability to Hide Time Stamps (Creation/Edited)

Problem statement:

As an instructor, I rely on creating course announcements in advance and scheduling their release at specific dates and times. However, with the recent Canvas update for Discussion/Announcement Redesign (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Discussions-Announcements/Canvas-Release-Discussions-Announcement...), both the created and last edited timestamps are now visible to students. Many other instructors find this change unfortunate. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Question-Forum/Announcements-showing-wrong-date-and-time-w... https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Question-Forum/Announcement-Timed-Release-with-Redesign/m-...

Proposed solution:

To maintain consistency and avoid confusion, I kindly request that the timestamps be hidden from student view. This adjustment would greatly enhance the user experience for both instructors and learners.

Problem statement:

Students are able to see the creation and edit date of an announcement. Many of our faculty members copy or reuse announcements from previous courses/drafts/semesters. We have seen students become confused when they see a creation date or edit date that is in the past (sometimes before the course start and end dates). We are hoping you can remove these dates. On behalf of SDSU Faculty Members, thank you for considering this important update.

Problem statement:

Students can see our Announcement creation dates, not just when we post them. This is a confusing and unnecessary distraction for students and it also gives them too much information about our personal lives. I do NOT want my students knowing what times I am working, that I am posting their assignments at 3am after my toddler wakes me up. It's just stupid and I hate it.

Proposed solution:

Just show the posting date. That's how it used to work. The creation date is irrelevant to them.
