Is commons (in the global navigation menu) available the Canvas Open source?

I have tried to see how to enable the commons menu in our open-source environment but has not been able to do it. So I ask, is commons (in the global navigation menu) present in the Canvas Open source?

If yes, how do I enable it?

I'm sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here for such a long time without a response.  Unfortunately, I don't really have a solution for you.  However, I did want to share another link with you of a similar question I found here in the Community.  It doesn't have a solution at this time, but maybe it will help in some way:
