The Catalog and Credentials Integration automates the connection between Canvas Catalog and Canvas Credentials to display in Canvas Catalog. This integration inspires learners, streamlines workflows, and drives institutional success. This allows institutions to enhance learner’s experiences and showcase their programs.
Additional Information:
- By default, the integration is disabled.
- The integration is available for Root and Subcatalog levels.
- The integration is only available with the paid version of Canvas Credentials.
- The integration is available for both the Old and New Storefronts.
In Catalog settings, click the Enable Canvas Credentials integration toggle to enable the integration. By default, the integration is toggled off.
Learners can explore pathways and track their achievements with badges automatically synced from Canvas Credentials, displayed on the homepage and listing pages.
Once badges and pathways are assigned, they are automatically synced with Catalog allowing consistency, efficiency, and real-time updates. Institutions can promote the comprehensive value of their programs and drive increased engagement, enrollment, and satisfaction.
The sync between Catalog and Credentials automatically occurs every 24 hours unless admins initiate a sync by clicking the Sync Now link [1].
Admins can enable or disable Display Pathways on Listings in Canvas Catalog [2] and/or Show Pathways tab only for assigned listings [3].
In the Listing Page, learners can click the Pathways tab to view pathways.
In the storefront, learners can filter courses and programs with pathways by selecting the Pathways checkbox [1] and clicking the Apply button [2].
