Catalog Release Notes (2024-12-02)

In this Catalog release (December 2), a multiselect option is available as an HTML input type option for User Defined Fields (UDFs). Additionally, the Initiate Integration permission setting allows root admins to limit the visibility of the Integration tab to only authorized administrators.

The multiselect option allows admins to create multiple User Defined Fields (UDFs) configurations. This feature allows users to select multiple values from a list, enhancing flexibility and improving the data input experience.

In Catalog admin settings, in the User Defined Fields tab, click the Add Field button [1]. In the HTML Input Type drop-down menu [2] click the multiselect option [3].

The Initiate Integration permission allows root admins to manage which users can view and access the Integration tab. This permission improves security by restricting access to the Integration tab to certain users, reduces the risk of unauthorized users installing third-party connections, and enhances user trust and compliance with organizational security policies.

In Subcatalog Admins settings, root admins can toggle the Initiate Integration permission to Allow or Deny subcatalog admins to view the Integration tab. Only users with permission can see the Integration tab in their interface. Users without permission do not have access or visibility to the Integration tab.
