Cancelling a Canvas Catalog enrolment so it doesnt appear as 'dropped'.

Is there a way as an admin that I can cancel/remove a student enrolment in a Catalog course listing without it appearing as been dropped.

If I remove the 'student' from the Canvas course they were enrolled in it appears as dropped in Catalog. However, in instances such as when the enrolment was in error, cancelled before the course begun or for testing purposes, we do not want a record of the course been dropped retained.

I believe there is a difference between the need to drop a course as opposed to cancel an enrolment, but I cannot see an option for this.

My understanding from a ticket we had with support is that we should be able to remove the enrollent via the API but we haven't been able to devote the time to look into the Catalog API which is separate from the Canvas API.

Hoping to dig into it this summer, but this is also something we would like an option for. Our needs are the same use cases you shared, acciental enrollment, error or testing purposes.
