Great news for instructors using external tools for assignment submissions. The February 12th Canvas Deploy will include a key update that brings support for External Tool assignments within Assignment Enhancements for Students.
You can now leverage the improved assignment workflow and features with your favorite External Tools instead of returning to the legacy view. This should make creating and managing assignments that utilize these tools a much smoother experience.
