repeatedly inactivate student

I have a student who keeps getting marked as "inactive" in my class. I am able to go into his profile and restore him, but he's been booted 3 times this month. Is there a way to keep this from continuing to happen?

Hi @smcconnell . Are enrollments in your courses normally added automatically from a feed through a student information system? At my institution this is the case and what would happen if I manually reactivated a student who was inactive in the SIS is that the next time the two synched, the student would be inactivated again. This may be what is happening here. You might contact someone with IT at your institution and see if this may be why the student is repeatedly inactivated.
