Can I grade a quizzes by question rather than student?

Unfortunately, this cannot be done in either the legacy quiz tool nor New Quizzes. At least not in the manner one would expect. What Canvas Can do is that, when using SpeedGrader, the focus on one item is retained when you move to the next student. For example, if item #13 is an essay item type requiring hand grading, you grade it for the first student, then when you jump to the next student SpeedGrader goes to item #13. This works quite well, but requires a lot of back-&-forth if you have a lot of manual-grade items in a quiz.

Please keep in mind that any feature ideas for quizzes will only be explored by the product teams in relation to the New.Quizzes tool, as no further development will be made on the legacy tool.
