early access to a canvas page by an individual student

Is it possible to make a 'page' in Canvas available to an individual student ahead of when the rest of the students would have access - before I would otherwise publish it?  Would an assignment posted on that page also be available at an earlier date?

Welcome to the Canvas Community! 

Page does not have a date or user release function.  Assignments do have this functionality.  You could put the information from the Page in the Assignment instructions and then choose the Assign to for that specific student:
