How do I set up a new trainer profile for her to be recognised as a teacher?

Hi @bernadetteh Thank You for your question.

There are multiple roles that course participants can have. It all depends on the purpose of the course.

Your colleague will be enrolled in your system as a teacher I assume. They will need to attend to their own profile. How do I edit my profile in my user account as an instructor?

But when you put people into a course that is where you can assign their roles.

Perhaps suggest that they join the canvas Community for if they have their own questions at a later date. How do I log into the Community with my Canvas account?
