This is mainly due to the start date that is set for the course. This setting is only available to your instructor. If the date is set for some future date that hasn't occurred yet, then your course will be listed in "Future enrollments". If the course hasn't officially started yet, this might be why you cannot access it just yet. However, if the course has started, you will want to reach out to your instructor to let him/her know that you (and the rest of your classmates, too) are not able to access the course.
