Student submitting work, but doesn't show up on teachers end

We have students who are submitting assignments from their iPad (they get the confetti as if they submitted), but on the teachers end, nothing shows up. Yes, the iPads are up to date with the current IOS and yes, I was there when one of the student submitted the assignment and checked they were doing it properly. It's the strangest thing, but I see many 0's in honors classes and it's making me wonder if students are submitting their work but from the teachers perspective, looks like the didn't submit. Anyone else having this issue?

We have seen similar issues like this, but the student was using the Canvas iOS app. We recommended to them that they use the Chrome web browser on their iPad or cell phone to submit their work. When the student submitted their work using the browser the teacher was able to see their submission successfully.

Thanks for the response! Our students are also using the Canvas app. So the students submitted work through the browser on their phone? Our district is one to one...

Yes. As long as the submitted their work via a browser, whether it be from their phone, tablet or computer they should be able submit their work successfully. It was only when they submitted via the app that they had issues we found.
