Speedgrader is not loading in Canvas.

I am using Chrome. This just occurred over the weekend and is still happening. I have cleared cookies and caches. I have restarted Chrome. I have restarted my computer. None of that has helped. Thoughts?

You'll most likely need to contact Canvas Support directly for assistance (use the Request Assistance link on the Help & Tools menu). Before you do, try logging into your Canvas account through an incognito window in Chrome to rule out the possibility that a browser extension or an obscure browser setting is interfering with your access to SpeedGrader.

I have the same issue. I CAN get in through Incognito or firefox. Does this mean the issue is an extension? How do I pinpoint which one it is so I can get it to stop?

At our university, we've had two separate issues where the fix was to disable the Bitdefender Anti-Tracker extension. That may not be helpful for you, but I thought it was worth tossing it out there in just in case.

Where is the request assistance link? I cannot find it in the help menu. I am having the same problem.

Depending on the canvas setup for your institution, there should be a help icon on the far left side in the list of icons under your profile icon.  clicking on that lists several options on contacting support (or that is how mine is setup).  One of those contacts is for Canvas support which is what you would want.  The availability of the help may be limited by what your institution is purchasing as well.

Thanks! It seems the "Request Assistance" link is unavailable, so I used the "Report a Problem" function. I still have not received any response, but fortunately (just now), student submissions are loading normally again in SpeedGrader. I just do not know what caused them to load slowly. Was it due to the cached files or cookies?

Oh no! Files are loading slowly in Canvas SpeedGrader again! I am pretty sure my internet connection is not the problem. I tried switching from Google Chrome to Mozilla Firefox but to no avail!

Should I ask my students to delete all their submissions that have already been graded? Could the accumulation of those files be causing this problem?

I have no ideas about the slow downloads other than to say to contact your Canvas Admins at the school and/or Canvas directly.  The issue you are seeing seems to be related to either your course or your institution.  In either case, I would start with your Canvas Admins to see if they can determine the issue.
