Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
I sent an invitation to my Canvas course to a new participant using her email address and name. She received an email with a "Get Access" or "Start Here" button. However, when she clicked the button it sends her to a page that indicates Canvas no longer is compliant with Internet Explorer. Is there a web page she can go to or link that will enable her to set up her account and join my course? Please help!

Hello @bodekeg , the issue is not one your end but on her's. Internet Explorer (the browser) is not supported by Canvas anymore, really it is barely supported by Microsoft anymore either. She needs to use Chrome or Firefox and then your link should work fine. Here is also a link to the supported browsers for reference:

Hope this helps!

Will it be apparent what she needs to do on her end to create a password to her Canvas account to access my course?
Yes, it will tell her the steps.
