Report of Instructor Activity in a Class

As an administrator, I would like to receive a weekly report of all of our online classes with respect to:

• The timeliness of the feedback instructors are providing students;
• The frequency and duration of instructor access to the class.

Are reports of this sort available?

Hi Antone,

There is no out of the box report available that will provide you with the information you're looking for. But you do have a few options on how you can get the data. 

1. #canvas data‌: This is how we are getting our data to determine the effectiveness of our instructors and how quickly they are grading and providing feedback to students once an assignment is submitted. As wells as being able to see how often they are posting to discussions, announcements, etc. 
2. You can contact your #csm‌ and talk with them about the possibility of getting a customized report written for your school that you can pull directly from your Canvas instance.
