Multiple Fill in the Blanks Spacing Issues New Quizzes

Hi.  I've migrated a lot of assessments from Classic to New Quizzes, and the ones with multiple fill in the blanks have spacing issues that cannot be fixed through editing. 

Screen shots attached of the Classic Quiz preview, the Classic Quiz Edit View, the New Quiz preview, and the New Quiz edit view (which is "locked" as far as changing the spacing). 

This is one example.  I have about 40 assessments (and about 100-125 questions) that are affected.

This is an accurate depiction of the difference between fill-in-the-blanks questions in Classic and New Quizzes. A conversation is currently underway requesting a design change in New Quizzes so that the question type more closely resembles what users are accustomed to in the old quiz tool, so please add your comments there (that's where our developers will see them):  Allow New Quizzes fill in the blanks to have multi...
