Modifying event details

I am new to this platform. I would like to know how to change the event details (say, time or venue etc.) which should also modify/affect all the events that follow? I find it pretty strange that such option does NOT seem to be there or I did not find it. It is extremely necessary, or else, I have to modify every event which is time consuming and unnecessary.

Also, I did not find an option to delete a set of events altogether. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
