Initial pop-up message when Student Logs into Canvas.

I am a Canvas Admin: I am trying to figure out how to add a message that will pop-up when students log in. The school counselors are wanting to push a daily "mental check-in."

Let me preface by stating each student is enrolled in a Counselors course in Canvas but the general population of students is not navigating to them. We also attempted sending it out via Global Announcement, but unless the student goes to Global Announcements, they do not see it.

Any suggestions? Help?

I'm surprised to hear that Global Announcements didn't work for your needs here. I did a test in our test environment and as soon as I logged into Canvas at the top of the screen on my dashboard I got the TEST announcement I has just created moments before.

If you can provide the steps you're using to setup the announcement we can try and assist you further.
