In the main Canvas notifications, I have discussions and discussion posts both set to daily summaries. My email at the top of the column is my normal regular email that they were coming to last semester.
In the course, I have daily or weekly emails set for everything except announcements by me, and all submissions, although submission comments are turned on. Do I need all submissions on? I don't see a reset to reset the course to whatever the default should be.
What do I need to do to get emails about comments to posts from other students (so I can know somebody replied so I can reply to them), and to know about comments on my assignments from my instructor?
I've checked my spam folder and there's nothing from Canvas in it.
I would love to know the solution too.
i have a an instructor who has discussion notifications all on for immediate notification but she is not getting new discussion posts in her email. Why not?
I clicked on subscribe to the discussion and that seemed to help and then notifications stopped again. I have a chat with a help person and they could not figure out what was wrong. I reset all my settings about that time so I did get a few and I am back to getting none. Its very incovienent! I am thinking about not using canvass discussion next semester since I don't have time to open all my courses to find students posts. All 6 of my classes are mixed so I have to open all six canvas tiles and search every module,
