Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
Hi, I probably asked this before so please forgive me. I know the Service Cloud for Field Admins has a separate website and I cannot remember what it is unfortunately. I also tried to customize my menu in my Canvas Dashboard to add a link as shortcut to the Service Cloud, but I'm not able to get there either. I received a notification from Canvas that a user (who happens to be my new boss), reported a problem. I actually asked him to do this in order to see if the process works. Although I received an email that a user needs help, there was no link in the email as where to go in order to read about the issue more in depth. Please help! Thanks so much.
rpsimon, does this help? How do I log in to the Field Cloud Admin Console? We do want your new boss (and everyone else, of course) to get a quick response!
I'm still getting an error message. I'm getting it when using the same browser window and new browser window.
rpsimon, I fully recognize the irony in what I'm about to type—but the best next course of action would be to contact Canvas Support (use the Report a Problem option in your Help menu) so they can see what Canvas instance your Field Admin status is associated with. That is assuming you are a named Field Admin and have already been given access to the case portal. If you haven't, you'll need to contact your CSM.
Yes, I have already been named as Field Admin as my CSM has set me up - well, at least I think he did. I know I spoke to him about it. But if I report a problem in the instance field, wouldn't it go to me?
rpsimon, if you are the only person designated to handle tickets at your school—and if your school has set it up such that a local admin handles tickets before escalating them to Canvas Support (not every school does this)—then yes, that ticket would go to you. I'll DM you an alternative.
