How do I get rid of organizations on canvas?

There are these organizations that are in my canvas account that I want to get rid of. They aren't starred so they don't show up as current courses but they aren't in the past enrollment area. This wouldn't be such an issue if they didn't post announcements. When those organizations do that it knocks down the ones for my classes that I actually need to see. There are organizations from my freshman year. I really want to get rid of them so I can only see all the stuff for my current classes. Thanks!

Hello,  @bethgrabasch  Welcome to the Canvas Community! Since Canvas doesn't have anything called "organizations," we wonder if what you're seeing are groups (either course- or account-level groups). If it's a course-level group, you'll need to contact the instructor and ask them to conclude the course. If it's an account-level group (associated with a campus club, for example), contact the group facilitator and ask to be removed from the group.

That's a very helpful screenshot,  @bethgrabasch ‌. It looks like your school uses courses that are called "Organizations." If you no longer wish to receive announcements and other notifications from those courses, you'll need to contact the instructor or facilitator of the course to request that you be removed from the enrollment.

Thank you for your help. Since 2 of them have grades from awhile ago I don't think that I can get removed but I am working on getting removed from the others. Thanks again
