How do I forward an email to the Canvas inbox?

I often receive emails that pertain to students - opportunities for internships, or summer programs, or announcements from the Dean. How can I forward those emails sent to me to all the students in my class?

Welcome to the Canvas Community!!!

What you see from Canvas are simply notifications to your email that you have received something in your Canvas Inbox.  You can reply to these notifications (this may be one way to do what you want), but the Canvas Inbox system was not designed to receive messages from outside email clients.  The best option is to copy and paste.

From How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an instructor?  You may be able to reply directly to email notifications outside of Canvas. Replies are updated in the Canvas Inbox. However, please be aware that attachments added as part of an external reply are not included with the message shown in Canvas.
