Does anyone use a live closed captioning service?

Hoping to see if anyone uses a live closed captioning software or company that provides closed captions to live lectures for accessibility. This would not be an every class type of thing. With everything being online now just want to be prepared. We have closed captions for anything that has already been recorded, or videos the instructors want to share with the class but we want all students to be able to participate in live lectures online. Thank you!

One trick we have be doing/suggesting is that Microsoft PPT now offers live captions during presentations.  They are super good quality and quite amazing. They are only available in the US the last time I checked b/c this is new. You can activate them under SlideShow tab>Always use subtitles. They can even instantly translate! Things to know - you must be in slide show mode and have the most recent version of PPT - works on desktop and Office 365. If you aren't using any slides, you can just put up a placeholder slide and the captions will keep on flowing!

Hi,

We use Google meet live. There is a captions option for live events. Not

perfect but can meet accessibility needs for participants:

Thanks  @jlugo1 ‌ and  @arovner ‌ for those tips, and  @rmorales3 ‌ for asking the question! I have just put these tips in our internal newsletter so we can run more accessible Zoom courses/meetings. BTW - I checked my copy of PowerPoint and it's working in Australia, so it doesn't seem to be just in the US. Probably only in English, though.
