Course Badges

Similar to notification badges on app icons and the inbox badges in emails and Canvas. It would be incredibly helpful to develop badges that provide a counter for unread announcements, todo, and other course-related activities in Canvas. It becomes a hassle to check every course for announcements and posted activities when the professors aren't active to tell it themselves.

Your posting sounds like a perfect candidate for a Feature Idea submission here in the Canvas Community.  Would you be willing to submit it as a Feature Idea so that others in the Community have a chance to read it, evaluate it, and provide their own feedback?  If so, you can start the process by clicking on the PRODUCT menu at the top of any screen here in the Community.  Then, select IDEA CONVERSATIONS.  On the screen that appears, you'll see a button to "Suggest an idea".  This is where you can start creating your idea.  I like to give people these other helpful documents as they get started:

• How do I create a new idea conversation in the Canvas Community?
