Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
This is our district's first year with Canvas. Some have asked what happens if they move to another district that also uses Canvas. If we work so hard creating courses, notes, tests, etc., is there a way to keep it as ours if we move out of the district?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@misty_gatlin , teachers can easily export their courses and re-import them into a course in another Canvas account. You can read more about that at How do I export a Canvas course? and How do I import a Canvas course export package? Just for good order's sake, I export my course and save it as an .imscc file at the end of every semester, because, well, you never know.

Oh wow stefaniesanders. Thanks! I know how to import and export, but I didn't know you could save as an file like that. I've only done that to import one Canvas course into another. I'll definitely look into it. Thanks.
