Beta Relase Notes and UI Change?

Hi guys!

Question -  has anyone heard of a UI change in Beta? I noticed it today, and scoured the release notes, but it is entirely possible that I've missed something somewhere.

Ours has the same change in it.  I thought Instructure did away with Beta release notes.  Do they just add stuff in Beta to test out and then if it makes it to production they add it in the production release notes? I didn't see anything in the release notes, either, but I'm not sure it contains updates to Beta.  That's just my understanding, anyway.

This is something new in beta that relates to a11y. If it remains in beta, it will be included in the notes that come out this Monday, August 26.

Personally think it is a good feature. Saves going to Student View each time and a nice reminder.

Only issue we have is that we reduced the column width of the menu to improve screen acreage and the icon drops down to second line on some of the longer navigation items names:
