Why does my canvas keep saying "The assignment you requested is not available in your course section" when I try to turn in assignments.

The first thing to try every time you have problems accessing something is to clear your cached pages and restart your browser. This is because your browser saves a copy of pages you visit in order to speed up browsing. That can cause problems in canvas when access to activities unlocks (because it will still look locked to you) or perhaps if your instructor corrects something you have already visited.
Also, make sure you are accessing the assignment from the link on your modules, syllabus, or assignment tab. The links in those places should go directly to the assignment no assigned to your section. Do not rely on only the link in a reminder you find in your email (for example) or typed into the body of an announcement.
If that still does not help, you will need help from canvas support. The bar of icons that includes your canvas inbox, also includes a link to support options. If you see 24/7 chat and phone support in the options, that will give you the fastest response, though you will likely have to wait in line.
