Assignment time limits based on time of download

Is there a way to create an assignment--other than, for example, a Canvas quiz--in which students can download the assignment and have a specified time limit to complete the assignment form the time it is downloaded?

Hi  @mvannieu  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

The quick answer is "No". You can set an "Available From" date in an assignment, and then students will have the time allotted from download to due date, but you cannot have the due date automatically recalibrated for each student based on when they downloaded the assignment.
