Acknowledgement Course to unlock other courses

I'm trying to create an Acknowledgement course that once done will unlock other courses, How can you unlock or provide access to another course once a student acknowledges their training plan?

Our online courses have a prerequisite course something like you are asking for.  At the end of the course the students are asked to enter a name and email to have a certificate forwarded to them.  The online courses then require the certificate to be uploaded and marked complete by the instructor, with module requirements set to block access until the certificate is complete.  It is cumbersome, and many students need very detailed instructions before they will get it right.  It would be nice to have a more direct method, but I do not believe that is built into canvas as an option yet.  You might suggest it in an idea conversation: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Idea-Conversations/idb-p/ideas
