Can you unpublish an entire course that you used last semester so that students cannot access it anymore?

Hi Julie,

You can unpublish‌ (How do I publish a course? ) so students are unable to access the course from the previous term or you can go into the settings of the course and set it so that students cannot view the course after the end date.  The second way maybe the easiest way as you can set it your course and as you create a new course or throughout the semester and once the term ends it will automatically be removed from students being able to view it.

You cannot unpublish a course once there is a graded submission, so the course settings route would be the way to go.
