I need to so an assignment for my class on rich content editor but I cant seem to find it where do I find rich content editor?

Hi   @cdennis2  Welcome  to the Canvas Community.  It sounds like your instructor created an assignment with a text entry box, which is where you will see the rich content editor.  See if this online lesson helps at all: How do I submit a text entry assignment?   Alternatively, perhaps it's an online discussion.  Here is some help on that: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10561-4212190706   Basically, there are several places where one may see the rich content editor, but you'll know it when you're in it, because it will look a lot like any online editor with a toolbar on top for bold, italics, etc.

If these don't help, you may want to reach out to your instructor for some additional information.  You can do this in Canvas by clicking Help and then Ask Your Instructor a Question.
