Hi   @jenny_gutierrez . I see that you posted a previous question to the Community ( Lecture Progress Monitor ) and as I said in my response to that post, for questions about specific course content the best person to ask is your course teacher who you can contact via the "Ask your instructor a question" link on the Help menu.

As far as I understand you had a question concerning some guidelines to a certain assignment. I completely agree with s.j.watts@bham.ac.uk that in such cases you have to consult exclusively with your instructor as only they know the details.

However, I would be glad to provide you and other members of the Canvas Community with some information on how plagiarism checkers integrated into Canvas work. 

Below I have provided some information about our software Unicheck. However, all third-parties cooperating with Canvas work the same way. Thus, if your school or university uses other plagiarism checkers, the procedure will be the same.

How to Use Unicheck in Canvas

While submitting an assignment in Canvas, you have to choose an appropriate plagiarism checker in ‘Plagiarism Review checkbox.’
