Hi  @msrose ...

That would mainly depend on which plagiarism tool you wanted to use in conjunction with Canvas...and most have a cost associated with them.  Two plagiarism checkers that come to mind (which both integrate with Canvas) are Turnitin and PlagScan.  You might want to first check with your school's local Canvas administrator or someone in your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to see if they have a plagiarism integration already available or if they would be able to investigate this more for you and your colleagues.

Could you clarify what plagiarism detection tool your university uses? I can share the information on how to integrate Unicheck plagiarism checker into Canvas. However, you will have to follow the same procedure with any other third-party software and plagiarism checker.

You should check what plagiarism checker your school or university is licensed to use. Then the framework has to be integrated into Canvas following the guidelines:

• How to Use Unicheck in Canvas
• Instructor’s Guide
• Administrator’s Guide

While creating an assignment in Canvas, you have to choose an appropriate plagiarism

checker in ‘Plagiarism Review' pop-up window.
