[ARCHIVED] disable inline view does not work

• Canvas Functionality has changed – it appears we cannot have links automatically DOWNLOAD when clicked upon.

Question = Or, can you tell us how to get this functionality back?

Old functionality

• Link to a file
• Disable inline preview   =  file would automatically download when user clicked on Link

New Functionality

• Link to a file
• Disable inline preview  

1. User then clicks on link = this opens a NEW window to get preview
2. User then needs to click *download link* in preview in order for file to download.

Am I missing something?

This change is small, but now we will have inconsistent functionality throughout courses unless \ until we update links.
