How do I upload a file on to Canvas?

Good morning @teresa_day ...

For clarification, can you please tell us if you are an instructor or a student?  Also, can you provide details of where you would like to upload a file?  For example, if you are a student, are you trying to upload a file as part of an assignment submission?  Or, if you are an instructor, are you trying to upload a file to a content page so that your students can download it for viewing?  Any additional details from you would be helpful...thanks!

If you are a teacher you can upload files via the Files navigation button. You can even create folders to organize the files. You can also upload files of pictures, icons, etc. while in the rich content editor (RCE).
