[ARCHIVED] Uploading 3 min video to discussion

Hi 

I have uploaded my video twice to the discussion area within my module and it is nowhere to be seen . However, a different video which seemed to have been uploaded after my attempt is visible.  I  have uploaded from both my PC and my phone ( android Samsung Galaxy).  I am following the step by step guide which is very clear but getting nowwhere.  Any advice or guidance would be welcome at this stage .

Thank you for contacting Canvas Support. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with uploading a video to a discussion. We understand you have tried on the app and the browser versions of Canvas. Usually, in a situation like this we would have you clear your cache and cookies, try another browser, or network altogether. Additionally, we can check that you have enough file space for the video by clicking on Account in the top left corner and then going to Files. If you scroll  to the bottom, you will see how much space you have left. If you have reached the capacity,  we recommend clearing some files from old courses you no longer need.

If none of the above are working for you, there are more steps we can take but it may be best to speak with you directly so we can find out what type of file format,  which course, etc. You are  welcome and encouraged to contact Canvas Support directly via email or phone.
