[ARCHIVED] Trying to Remove a Textbook Listing Under "Recommended Textbooks for Purchase"

Hi! I've uploaded a few textbooks on the Canvas site under "Recommended Textbooks for Purchase," but inputted one of the books (number 9) incorrectly. I'd like to delete it and manually input it with the right publisher/date/title. When I click "delete" next to number 9, I see this: Couldn't remove the textbook from the course. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi,  @zhk2107  and  Welcome to the Canvas Community! "Recommended Textbooks for Purchase" is not a native Canvas feature, and that error message is similarly unfamiliar. It's possible that this is a custom application that was added to Canvas by your school. Would you please contact someone in your local eLearning or IT department to assist you with this? I was able to find this page of support links for faculty on your school's website that might get you closer to the help you need: Services for Faculty | University Services

Hi Zahra,

It doesn't sound like you are working in a standard area of the Canvas interface.  Can you share any screenshots without compromising student private information?
