Is it possible to see which students have viewed a certain document in Canvas?

Hi, Michael,

If you have permission to view analytics, New Analytics will show you Weekly Online Activity, and you can view the number of students, page views, and participations for a specific resource. To view details for a specific student, click the student's name, and then click the Weekly Online Activity tab for that student. See How do I view weekly online activity analytics in an interactive chart graph in New Analytics?  

If you don't have New Analytics for whatever reason (though you should be able to have it by default—check to see if it's hidden in your Course Navigation Menu) you can view the existing version of Course Analytics and view some course activity, though it isn't as detailed: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10299-how-do-i-view-course-analytics  You can also view a report for individual students and see what pages they have viewed, as shown here: How do I view the course access report for an individual user?
